As someone who is very, very acne prone and has had a few truly horrifying experiences after going to town with cleansing oils (like, REALLY massaging for grits; using cleansing oils that seem clean and that many acne prones have success with) I am permanently afraid of going in too deep with cleansing oils. I still can and do use them for a light massage to melt off sunscreen & makeup, when I have really heavy duty stuff on, but really massaging is now something I am too scared of. (edit to add: Lab Muffin has piqued my interest in this Deciem cleanser ) I just want something that will gently expedite the pore clearing process as I am already using acids to loosen things up. And I suspect there are others who dislike cleansing oils for various reasons, who would also like to know of some alternatives. (edit to add: and yeah, for me personally, no clay mask has done a ton. But for others this may be a good alternative to oil cleansing) • • • • •.
