Yamaha Dsp Factory Ds2416 Drivers

I can't get any of my midi to play through Sonar 3 and my Yamaha DSP factory (DS2416). Has anyone please got any ideas? It's driving me mad (no pun intended). I know it has nothing to do with the midi directly it's just the fact that nothing is coming in through the inputs of the DSP Factory in Sonar 3.
